Watercolor Basics $97 (90 mins)
This class is for absolute beginners.
If this is your first time picking up a brush or even if you’ve tried painting before and would like to learn from the beginning, then this class may be for you.
Lessons taught:
Watercolor Tools - how to use and care for them. Adding to your collection and what to look for when you shop.
Color theory - basic color palettes, color mixing.
Basic techniques - wet on wet, wet on dry, lifting, glazing, etc.
Basic drills - exercises to help introduce yourself to the medium and gradually gain confidence about water control.
Deep-dive $75 (60 mins)
This is great for absolute beginners who are just starting out with watercolors.
I’ll do a deep-dive into a single element of floral composition so you can learn “from scratch”. For example, different types of leaves or different angles of roses. You pick the topic!
Sample topics per session:
• Leaves
• Roses
• Peonies
• Dahlias
• 5/3-petal flowers and Wildflowers
• Anemones and Snapdragons
• Anything else you like!
Painting “Sesh” $45 (60 mins)
These sessions are perfect for those who have been exploring watercolors for a little bit and consider yourself at an advanced beginner or intermediate level.
If you’ve been struggling to get that one flower just the way you’d like or there is something about your leaves that is bugging you and you can’t seem to figure it out, then this may be the class for you.
I’m going to essentially watch you paint and give you tips and pointers along the way. These will be limited to one or two elements. For example, roses with leaves. Or dahlias and roses.
We’re going to figure it out together!
